Plastic powder is becoming still more popular way of surface finishing. The principle of this technology is to put a layer of powder (usualy on a basis of resin), that is heat up to melt and adheres to the surface. After cooling off a coherent layer is created. Its attributes depend on the type of powder used.
A wide range of powders, suited for a variety of applications, is available for various applications. The advantage of this technology
is a minimum loss when applying powder to the treated works.
The powder takes hold electrostatically in a continuous layer around the surface of the subject and even in those with more articulated surface. In the case of powder particulates, powder can be easily recycled.
